The picture below is my QSL card that I send out when I have made a contact I also have put on some QSL cards that I have received.

QSL cards are a confirmation of a radio communication between amateur radio operators, reception of a radio broadcast or shortwave broadcasting station. At a first broadcast or if there is a technical change and the operator wants to verify how far his signal is heard, he may request listeners to send a card via postal mail (today email is also used) to document where and when his signal was heard. Many amateur radio operators will mail a QSL card as soon as they pick up a new signal.
